Los cuatro aparecen en la codiciada categoría de "Video del Año", en la que encontramos "everything i wanted" de Eilish de cara con "Dodzilla" de Eminem y Juice WRLD, "Future Is Drake" de Future y Drake, "Rain On Me" de Gaga y Grande, "The Man" de Taylor Swift y "Blinding Lights" de The Weeknd.
Además, en esta edición hay ternas completamente nuevas "Mejor video musical desde el hogar" y "Mejor actuación de cuarentena", en las cuales se destacan las formas creativas en que los musicos se adaptaron al contexto cambiante.

VMA's 2020 se llevará a cabo el sábado 30 de agosto a las 21 (horario argentino) y lo podrás ver a través de las diferentes plataformas digitales de MTV. A pesar de la pandemia por COVID-19, tendrá lugar Barclays Center de Brooklyn y, según el comunicado de prensa, "el evento presentará actuaciones épicas de varios lugares icónicos en los cinco distritos de la ciudad de Nueva York".
