Hace tan solo unas horas, Justin Bieber ha lanzado el desgarrador video para su nueva canción "Hold On".
En el clip dirigido por Colin Tilley, Bieber y la actriz Christine Ko retratan a una pareja que necesita dinero para el tratamiento del cáncer para salvar la vida de Ko. En un acto de compasión y desesperación, el intérprete de "Baby" pinta con spray una pistola de juguete y roba un banco, lo que lleva a una persecución policial de suspenso mientras intenta escapar en su motocicleta.
"Necesito que aguantes / El cielo es un lugar no muy lejos", canta en el coro. "Todos sabemos que debería ser yo quien diga que todos cometemos errores / Toma mi mano y agárrate / Dime todo lo que necesites decir / Porque sé lo que se siente ser alguien que pierde el rumbo".
Este sencillo será parte del próximo trabajo discográfico del canadiense que verá la luz el próximo 19 de marzo, Justice. Además, en el tracklist encontraremos "Holy", con Chance the Rapper; "Lonely", con Benny Blanco; y "Anyone", que llegó a principios de este año.
"En un momento en que hay tanto mal en este planeta roto, todos anhelamos la curación y la justicia para la humanidad", dijo Bieber en un comunicado. “Al crear este álbum, mi objetivo es hacer música que brinde consuelo; para hacer canciones con las que la gente pueda identificarse y conectarse, para que se sientan menos solos".
